Sealed bids are requested for the resurfacing of West 210th Street from Lorain Road to Center Ridge Road. Generally, the work to be performed includes concrete repair, partial curb replacement, planing existing pavement, placement of an asphalt intermediate course, placement of an asphalt surface course, single chip seal, drive apron replacements, adjustment of castings, reconstruction of catch basins and manholes, replacement of curb ramps and detectable warnings. The work is located within the right-of-way or on city owned property at the following locations: west 210 th street from lorain road to center ridge road and the intersection of west 210 th street with the following streets: westwood avenue, eastwood avenue, northwood avenue, woodstock avenue, stanford avenue, belvidere avenue, ivorton road, addington boulevard, and westgate mall drive. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope endorsed for the project. Plans, specifications, bid forms, and contract documents are available for examination and purchase online. Bidders are responsible for all printing and delivery fees, which are non-refundable. The engineer's estimate for the project is $1,925,000.00. All employees and applicants for employment must not be discriminated against by the bidder based on race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Contractors are required to pay prevailing wages in accordance with Ohio law. Each bid must contain the full name of all interested parties and be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of either a bond for 100% of the bid amount, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit on a solvent bank in Cuyahoga County for at least 10% of the bid amount.
