Reference Number 0000414552 Bid Intent Not Available The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to outline the requirements for electric service upgrades and the replacement of several components of the existing gas-fired HVAC equipment serving the Historic Courthouse. The Routt County Historic Courthouse is located at 522 Lincoln Avenue in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The County's objective is to have a fully executed Routt County construction contract by April 24, 2026, with project completion to be proposed by the offeror. Routt County invites qualified contractors to participate in a transformative HVAC retrofit and electrification project at the Historic Courthouse. Built in 1923 and spanning 20,574 square feet, this landmark serves as a hub for essential county services. The objective of this project is to modernize the HVAC through electrification and efficiency upgrades. Through replacement of aging gas-fired equipment with high-efficiency electric systems, the County aims to improve reliability, enhance system performance, reduce environmental impact, and align with long-term sustainability goals. This project includes the following scope of work: Replace two rooftop units (RTU 1 and RTU 2) with high-efficiency electric systems. Replace the hot water hydronic heating boiler with an electric resistance unit.
