Reference Number 0000409833 The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) and accompanying drawings and specifications are to provide instructions and assistance in submitting an offer for the Restoration of Masonry Site Walls at the Routt County Justice Center. The Routt County Justice Center is located at 1955 Shield Drive in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The objective is to have a fully executed Routt County Construction Contract by March 13, 2026, with project completion by July 1, 2026. An on-site exploratory investigation was conducted in April 2025 to assess the underlying causes of the masonry site walls' advanced deterioration. Portions of the brick veneer and capstone were selectively removed at predetermined locations to evaluate the condition of multiple wall sections. The investigation identified numerous design and construction deficiencies, as well as environmental factors, that contributed to the observed deterioration. The accompanying report, included as an attachment to this RFP, documents these findings in detail and provides the recommended restoration methods, materials, and procedures for the proposed project.
