To produce Milorganite fertilizer, the Owner operates twelve rotary drum dryers. Continuous operation of these dryers is essential for effective and efficient wastewater treatment. To maximize the availability of the dryers, the contractor selected for this Contract will provide the following services as requested by the Owner: Nondestructive evaluation, including phased array analysis of tires; thrust roller and trunnion replacement, using Owner-furnished parts; tire and trunnion grinding; tire and trunnion hardness testing; dryer inspections, both dynamic (operational) and static (non-operational); dryer alignment; and an allowance to address unforeseen dryer needs that may arise over the Contract period.
