Site work and paving for a road / highway in Three Lakes, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of April 14, 2026, the project was awarded to Pitlik & Wick Inc, with an awarded amount of $788,716.94** This is a single contract for crack filling, patching, application of a single layer of chip seal surface and fog seal on approximately 9.2 miles of roads and pulverizing, addition of base course, shaping to produce acceptable drainage and asphalt pavement construction with spot Carlson screed asphalt curb, tree removal and ditching on approximately 4.4 miles of roads. This contract consists of the following approximate quantities: Single Layer of Chip Seal (103,200 square yards) Fog Seal (103,200 square yards) 3/4 -inch CABC Placement (9,470 tons) Hot-mix Asphalt Pavement (7,520 tons) The quantities are subject to change without notice prior to document distribution. Bidders must be pre-qualified with the Town of Three Lakes within the last year or must be pre-qualified for this work 5 days prior to the bid deadline in accordance with Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bidders must be experienced in municipal road construction. RIGHTS RESERVED: The Town of Three Lakes reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid. Question Deadline 03/06/2026 Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
