Site work and paving for a road / highway in Upper Leacock Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Upper Leacock Township will receive bids for the 2026 Roadway Projects Contract No. 1 - Paving, and Contract No. 2 - Bituminous Seal Coat. The work for Contract No. 1 will include, but not necessarily be limited to, approximately 34,780 SY milling, 34,780 SY paving fabric, 1,655 ton bituminous leveling course, and 3,310 ton bituminous wearing course. The work for Contract No. 2 will include, but not necessarily be limited to, approximately 47,650 SY of bituminous seal coat - double application. A certified check or bid bond for ten percent of the total bid is required, issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Only questions submitted online via PennBID will be considered. Various laws and regulations apply, including the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Contract No. 1 - Paving), OSHA, Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002, Pennsylvania One Call Act (Act 287 of 1974, as amended), Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222, non-collusion affidavit, and non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations. Upper Leacock Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
