Work of the Project includes the construction of a new treatment facility and installation of ion exchange technology with associated piping, pumps, and filters on Constitution Blvd in Rockaway Township. Sealed bids are requested for the Fox Hills Well Filtration project. Bids must be delivered in sealed envelopes and addressed to the Rockaway Township Municipal Building, Office of the Business Administrator. Bids may be submitted by certified mail, return receipt requested, regular mail, or hand delivery, and must arrive by the time of bid opening. All bids must be submitted on the approved bid proposal forms provided in the specifications. Bidders are required to supply one original, one copy, and one electronic copy of the bid (on CD or flash drive). Bid documents are available only from the township website, and may also be examined at the municipal offices during regular business hours. The township does not release project estimates or lists of bidders. Bidders must comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C 17-27. The bid is advertised in accordance with "Fair and Open Bases," and no additional requirements are imposed under Pay-to-Play legislation (N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.7). *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
