Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Erlanger, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,600-square-foot municipal facility; and fire / police facility.
The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all plant materials, equipment , supplies , labor and transportation , including fuel , power , water (except any materials , equipment , utility or service , if any , specified herein to be furnished by the Owner ), and performing all work as required in the statement of work in the Contract , in strict accordance with the specifications , schedules , and drawings , all of which are made a part hereof , and including such detail drawings as may be furnished by the Engineer from time to time during the prosecution of the work in explanation of said drawings. Questions from contractors during the bidding process should be submitted by in writing via email or fax to smcmillan@vioxinc.com and dmichels@vioxinc.com or Fax to 859 727-8452, ATTN Sandy McMillan and Dominic Michels, P.E. The project includes all material, labor, equipment, and installation required to complete all element(s) for the Eons Property - Public Works & Police Building Project. Instructions to bidders: Each sealed bid must be accompanied by either a cashier's check or satisfactory bid bond of not less than five percent of the aggregate amount of the bid. The successful bidder must provide construction contract security in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the bid. All bids must be made on the required Bid Form, and two completed copies are required. Contractors must purchase bid documents from Viox & Viox, Inc. to qualify as a registered bidder. No substitution of Contractors is allowed without change of registration. Digital or hard copies of specifications can be ordered from the office of the City Engineer, Viox & Viox, Inc., for a cost. The City will evaluate bids in accordance with resident bidder preferences and reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
