The specifications relate to the requirements for purchasing asphaltic material for Racine County's planned paving projects in 2026. Asphaltic material will be picked up at the plant and hauled by County trucks. The material is to be used in the repair or resurfacing of highways in Racine County. Upon request, the supplier must provide a mix design report for the purchased mix. No specific minimum purchase is guaranteed, and the quoted price shall be fixed for the 2026 calendar year unless otherwise indicated. Bidders must list the addresses of their asphalt plants from which delivery may be taken. Bidders must complete and submit the quotation form, certifying their ability to meet the requirements stated in the RFQ. All work and materials must conform to Section 450 of the 2026 State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction and additional specified requirements. Quotations must be submitted electronically as instructed. The document also outlines indemnification responsibilities for the contractor.
