Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Katy, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed renovation of Fire Station 3 will consist of an apparatus bay building addition of 5,000 square feet with 650 square feet of mezzanine floor, and a 4,400 square feet second floor. Other building improvements include 900 square feet interior renovation and 3,840 square feet of refinishing existing concrete at the apparatus bay. The project also includes building and site improvements such as 600 square feet roof canopy extension at the patio, four carport canopy installations spanning over 23 existing parking stalls and 5 new parking stalls. Further, included in the scope is landscaping in front of the existing administration building and landscaping the future apparatus bay. The project also includes a new 5,200 square feet concrete drive, and five new parking stalls, 1,310 square feet of sidewalk work, and 180 of new fencing. The proposed renovation of Fire Station 2 includes 1,460 square feet of building expansion for dormitories and additional training room space. Other building improvements include 180 square feet interior renovations, and 3,824 square feet refinishing of existing concrete at the apparatus bay. The project also includes exterior and site improvements such as 600 square feet roof canopy extension at the patio, 485 square feet of sidewalk work, 507 square feet concrete pad for fuel station with overhead canopy, 5,904 square feet for a new driveway for 17 parking stalls, a 6,125 square feet driveway to access the fueling station, and two carport canopy installations spanning over 17 existing parking stalls. The proposed renovation ofFire Station 1 consists of two carport canopy installations spanning above 21 existing parking stalls. Additional site work includes 478 square feet of driveway expansion, 62 square feet new sidewalk, and a 120 square foot trash enclosure. The project includes an exterior covered 1,420 square foot patio, 160 square foot walkway canopy, and 2,150 square foot vehicle garage. Within the station, renovations include the refinishing of the 6,200 square feet existing apparatus bay, and 440 square feet dormitory renovation on the second floor. The proposed Fire Training Burn Building Prop at Fire Station 2 consists of 15,305 square feet driveway and 2460 square feet building pad for the fire training building prop.
