Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase 2 Improvements Chalfont-New Britain Township Joint Sewage Authority is requesting bids for the construction of Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase 2 Improvements. The project involves phased removal of the surface aerators, IMLR pumps, valves, piping, RAS pumps, and related electrical and control equipment, and phased installation of blowers, diffused aeration system, submersible mixers, RAS pumps, IMLR pumps, valves, piping, related structural modifications, electrical, and controls equipment. Additionally, installation of course bubble diffusers and related piping, valves, instrumentation, and appurtenances for the aerobic digester is included. Separate bids will be received for General Construction and Electrical Construction contracts. Bid security in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond must be furnished in an amount not less than 10%.
