The City of Gloversville is requesting proposals from qualified individuals or firms for the provision of professional engineering services on a regular and ongoing basis as needed for its public projects. Scope of Services: 1. Oversee technical aspects of public projects involving buildings and other structures, as well as street and utility infrastructure, and provide guidance as needed. 2. Provide guidance to the mayor, common council, and department heads relative to both current and prospective operations, initiatives, and projects. 3. Draft bid specifications and Requests for Proposals as appropriate. 4. Attend Common Council meetings as required. 5. Any other needs of the City that would fall under an engineer's purview. Instructions to Bidders: Interested parties should submit a written proposal to include, but not be limited to: 1. Resume(s) of individual(s) performing required services. 2. Price breakdown or hourly fee schedule for all employees of the firm who would be providing services to the City. The relationship between the City and the chosen applicant will be a contractual one for professional services; the person or firm will not become an employee of the City.
