Site work and paving for a civil project in San Anselmo, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This contract is for furnishing labor and equipment for the installation of a 20,000 gallon bolted steel tank. The work to be done is located in Town of San Anselmo within the County of Marin, California. The Contractor performing work under this contract shall possess a class A Contractor's license which is valid in the State of California at the time the contract is awarded. Within five working days after the bid opening date for this project, the three apparent lowest bidders shall submit a credit report, current within 30 days of the bid opening date for this project. For privacy purposes, the report may be submitted in an envelope marked "CONFIDENTIAL." To be considered a responsible bidder on this project, either the Contractor's credit report shall indicate a Dun & Bradstreet credit risk rating of 2A2 or better or the Contractor's bank shall issue a financial statement on the form attached as Page VI-a. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to labor Code section 1725.5 (with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a). No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. The prevailing rate of wages in the locality in which work is to be performed has been ascertained by the District and published under the provisions of Section 1773 of the California Labor Code.
