Remodeling of an educational facility in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
The South Bay Union School District seeks qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive Audio-Visual (AV) upgrade across 10 elementary school sites. The purpose of this project is to upgrade aging AV equipment and ensure long-term reliability and supportability. This is a public works project. Contractors should use prevailing wage to determine the labor costs. Contractors and sub-contractors must have a DIR registration number. Each bid must be submitted with a Bid Bond executed by the bidder and Surety Company, or certified check, or cashier's check or cash, in an amount equal to 10% of the bid. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a separate Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price, and each issued by a California-admitted surety. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of 90 days after the date set for bid opening.
