Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Hartwick, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.

Otsego County is accepting sealed bids for the replacement of County Route 59 over Oaks Creek. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not limited to: removal of existing 112 ft. two span steel multi-girder structure, placement of a new 120 ft. single span steel multi-girder structure, new cast-in-place concrete integral abutments and wingwalls founded on steel h-piles, steel sheeting installations, stone fill placement, approach work, and guiderail installation. This is a BridgeNY (Federal Aid) Project and the NYSDOT Standard Specifications must be followed. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly labeled with project information, and received by the specified deadline. Proposals must be submitted as one original. Bids received via facsimile or email will not be considered. All contractors submitting a bid must have formally requested and be on the plan holders list. Only bids from contractors on the official plan holders list will be accepted. Addenda will be distributed by email and must be acknowledged by bidders. Bids must include a completed Bid Form, Non-Collusive Bidding and Disbarment Certifications, Lobbying Certifications, and a Certificate of Registration with the New York State Department of Labor. Each bid must be accompanied by security of at least five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the accepted bid and comply with all applicable federal equal employment opportunity requirements and prevailing wage rates. The successful bidder and all subcontractors must have an approved CCA-2 on file with NYSDOT prior to contract award. Otsego County reserves the right to consider bids for forty-five (45) days, to waive minor informalities, and to reject any or all bids. Substantial completion is required within 200 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed or by a specified date, whichever comes first, with final work and quantities ready for payment by the end of the year. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) calendar days after the bid opening. The DBE goal for this project is: 0%.
