Site work and paving for a road / highway in West Union, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are invited for the 2026 OPWC Adams County and Township Asphalt Paving Project. Each bid must include the full name of all parties submitting the proposal and interested persons. Bidders must provide a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, with bid security in bond form issued by a surety licensed in Ohio. Evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity must be submitted. Contractors and sub-contractors are required to comply with Ohio Prevailing Wage Laws (Chapter 4115, Ohio Revised Code), use Ohio products and labor where practicable, and comply with equal employment opportunity requirements per Ohio Administrative Code, Chapter 13, and specified Governor's Executive Orders. Domestic Steel use requirements (Ohio Revised Code 153.011) apply. All contractors and sub-contractors must be enrolled and in good standing with the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation Drug-Free Workplace Program or an approved equivalent. Bid packages are available from The Adams County Engineer's Office. The right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids is reserved by order of the Adams County Board of Commissioners. Bids must be marked: "SEALED BID-2026 OPWC Adams County and Township Asphalt Paving Project, DO NOT OPEN.".
