The work consists of surface milling asphalt pavement and installing a new HMA pavement overlay along Wylde Oak Drive, Westmoor Road, Countryside Court, Westmoor Court, and Gulig Court. The base bid includes approximately 11,660 S.Y. of surface milling, 1,470 tons of HMA pavement, and associated shouldering. Three supplemental bids include surface milling and new HMA pavement overlay along Fitchburg Court, Rosewood Lane, and Wylde Oak Drive/Court, with up to an additional 6,380 S.Y. of surface milling, 803 tons of HMA pavement, and associated shouldering. All bids must be submitted online via QuestCDN vBid™ using the specified Bid Forms. Bidders must download official Bidding Documents from www.mcmgrp.com utilizing QuestCDN eBidDocTM, available for a non-refundable fee. A Certified Check or Bid Bond of not less than 5% of the maximum Bid is required as security. The successful Bidder must execute and file the Contract, Performance/Payment Bonds, and Insurance Certification within 15 days after the Notice of Award. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 60 days after opening without owner consent. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, or accept the bid(s) that best serve the Town of Algoma's interests. The contract is subject to provisions of Sections 66.0901, 66.0903, and 779.16 of the Wisconsin Statutes.
