Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in North Mankato, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Miscellaneous removals; removal of existing sanitary sewer service; removal of existing water service; installation of 2 hydrants and gate valves; installation of 3 gate valve & box (8", 10", & 12"); construction of 2,900 sq yd 8" concrete pavement (with common excavation, geogrid, 15" aggregate base, class 5, 4" perforated underdrains); installation of 2,200 sq ft 10" concrete pavement special; installation of 1,700 lin ft concrete curb & gutter; installation of 10,700 sq ft 6" concrete walk; placement of 1,700 sq ft concrete crosswalk pavers (with 6" concrete pavement special base and 13" concrete pavement special edges); placement of 4,400 sq ft concrete sidewalk pavers (with 4" concrete sidewalk special base); installation of 700 lin ft storm sewer (12"-18" diameter) with catch basins, manholes, and casting assemblies; decorative street lighting and event power system; construction of 2 at-grade planters (with concrete planter wall, organic topsoil borrow, trees, perennials, and mulch); signing and striping; turf establishment; temporary erosion control. The project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates, Truck Rentals, Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, Buy American Iron and Steel Provisions, and Build America Buy America. Bids will be received online. Bidders must execute the acknowledgment on the bid form to accept the conditions set forth in any addenda issued.
