Renovation of a transportation facility in Frederick, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The City of Frederick is accepting proposals from qualified Maryland licensed contractors to replace the existing HVAC system at the Frederick Municipal Airport Air Traffic Control Tower located at 299 Controller Court, Frederick, MD 21701. The current system consists of two Mitsubishi PURY-P144TJMU City Multi condensers (also identified as one Mitsubishi PURY-P240TSHMU-A on the mechanical schedule from the 2011 construction) and 15 fan coil units (approximately 2 vertical floor mount, 8 horizontal enclosed, and 5 wall mount). Refer to the original mechanical schedule for specifics on the existing system. Only Maryland licensed contractors are eligible to bid. Question Deadline 03/13/2026 at 3:00 PM ET Unless otherwise stated in the solicitation, any questions concerning conditions and specifications should be submitted in writing. An additional 2% subcontract goal for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOSB) will be applied on a contract-by contract basis provided that there are subcontracting opportunities available for the contract; and there are at least three SDVOSBs that are available and capable to perform a commercially useful function for the subcontracting opportunities on the contract
