**As of April 10, 2026, bids received were rejected. No definite date for the rebid.** The area housing the Dissolved Air Filtration (DAF) tank is to be repurposed into a garage. This includes removal and demolition of the equipment, piping, conduit, etc. associated with the DAF Tank. Remove knockout panel for new garage door on the south side of the building. This will include relocation of an overhead water pipe. Remove and replace curb and add apron for overhead door. Demo and replace electrical items. Demo and patch slab for interceptor tank below grade. Electrical for owner compressor. Existing Heat Recovery Unit and duct to be removed. Relocate existing unit heater. Add unit heater and associated MEP items. Install wall exhaust fan with duct and damper. Patch CMU wall at removed louver. Alternate bid for epoxy flooring. See drawings and specs. Include any surface cleaning, grinding or other prep necessary. Bid Security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the Bid including all add alternates, must accompany each Bid in accord with the Instructions to Bidders 00 1000.7. Cash, Bidders Bond, cashier's checks or certified checks will be accepted. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. If the contractor fails to complete the work within the contract time, the Contractor shall pay to the Owner as liquidated damages, the sum of $500 per day past the agreed completion date. Bidders and Sub-bidders requesting clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request which shall be received by the Architect/Engineer at leastseven days prior to the date for receipt of Bids.
