Renovation of an educational facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 232,500-square-foot, five-story above grade educational facility.
Locker room renovations to include relocation and modification of existing lockers, construction of new walls and doors, and associated concrete, mechanical, and electrical work. Pre-qualification: Required Summary by References: 1. Work of the Contract can be summarized by references to the Contract, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Specification Sections, Drawings, addenda, and modifications to the Contract Documents issued subsequent to the initial printing of this Project Manual and including but not necessarily limited to printed material referenced by any of these. It is recognized that work of the Contract is also unavoidably affected or influenced by governing regulations, natural phenomenon including weather conditions, and other forces outside the Contract Documents. A business certified through a program like Quorum, which is affiliated with the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C. 5. Disabled Business Enterprise (DBE) a. A business at least 51% owned and operated by an individual in the U.S. with a disability. 6. Service Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (SVD) a. A business at least 51% owned and operated in the U.S. by an individual considered by the government as a service disabled veteran. 7. Veteran Owned Business Enterprise a. A business at leWorkers a. Women (Skilled and Unskilled) 20% of the Workforce b. Minority (Skilled) 8% of the Workforce c. Minority (Unskilled) 15% of the Workforce d. People of Color or Indigenous People 32% of the Workforce e. Minneapolis Residents 15% of the Workforce Bidders and Sub Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request which shall reach the Architect at least 7 calendar days prior to the date for receipt of Bids.
