Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Berwick, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Salem Township will receive sealed bids online via the PennBid Program for the Salem Township Central Avenue Road Improvements Project. The work includes all labor, materials, tools, oversight, mobilization and demobilization required to complete concrete sidewalks, ADA curb ramps, fence relocations, base repairs, milling, and paving of roadways, and maintenance and protection of traffic. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the instructions. PA Prevailing Wage Rates apply. All Prime Contractor Bidders must be PennDOT Prequalified as a Prime Contractor and for the tasks they complete, and all subcontractors must be PennDOT Prequalified as a Sub-Contractor for the tasks assigned. Salem Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
