Sealed proposals for HVAC renovations to Auburn Junior High School Gym in Auburn, Alabama will be received. All General Contractors and Mechanical Contractors, whether bidding as Prime Contractors or Subcontractors, must fill out the prequalification form and submit it to the engineers for evaluation of experience before submitting a bid. Only prequalified contractors will be allowed to bid. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to Auburn City Schools in an amount not less than five percent of the bid, but no more than $10,000, must accompany the proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at contract signing. Drawings and specifications may be examined at the office of Morris Davis Engineering LLC. PDF electronic bid documents may be obtained from the Engineer for $25.00. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Engineer or their copies. Bidders must be licensed under Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must display their current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing the proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors to promote the best interests of the Owner.
