Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Dayton, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Bids are solicited for the DAYTON LIBERTY PIKE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, JEF-42-4.39, JOB #2023-15. All work must be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications. Contractors must be pre-qualified in the proper work types by the Ohio Department of Transportation and must possess work types equal to at least 50% of the submitted bid price. Domestic steel use requirements as specified in Section 153.011 of the Ohio Revised Code apply. Bidders may submit via Bid Express or by paper in a sealed envelope. A bid guaranty is required, either as a bond for the full bid amount or a certified check/cashier's check/electronic bid bond/letter of credit for 10% of the bid. If a 10% guaranty is submitted and the bid is accepted, a performance bond for the full contract amount is required. The Board of County Commissioners of Montgomery County, Ohio must be named as obligees on all bonds. Only those with a Bid Express digital ID may submit electronically. Ohio products, materials, services, and labor are encouraged for use on this project. Refer to the Special Provisions section of the Bid Submittal Documents for further project-specific information.
