Renovation of a mixed-use development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This construction requirement is subject to the restrictions of FAR Part 36.209, which prohibits award of a construction contract to the architect-engineer firm that designed the project, or to its subsidiaries or affiliates. The requirement is a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside pursuant to 38 U.S.C. 8137(d). All offerors must be verified SDVOSBs and be registered in both the Small Business Administration database and the System for Award Management prior to submission of an offer and at the time of award, with SDVOSB status subject to verification. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000 in accordance with VAAR 836.204(f). The North American Industry Classification System code is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 million. The period of performance is 240 calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed. Award is subject to the availability of funds. All bidders are required to attest to and answer all solicitation questions, acknowledge all amendments, and review all attachments. A site visit is scheduled for March 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with attendees meeting in the lobby of the main building next to the police post. Requests for information must be submitted by email only no later than April 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM, and responses will be posted by close of business on April 10, 2026. Bids must be submitted by email only by April 17, 2026, at 12:00 PM, and no late bids will be accepted. A public bid opening will be held remotely on April 21, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Per VAAR 836.204 (f), the magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
