INVITATION TO BID - DRILLING OF TEST BORINGS - STATE PROJECT NO. 0083-0279, REPLACEMENT OF BRIDGE 01663, STATE ROUTE 736 (AKA BUCKINGHAM AVENUE) OVER GULF POND, MILFORD, CT Sealed proposals for the performance of subsurface explorations, including the making of test borings, securing soil and rock samples and other work incidental thereto for the project titled Replacement Of Bridge 01663, State Route 736 (aka Buckingham Ave.) over Gulf Pond, Milford, CT, will be received by Freeman Companies, LLC until Frid ay, March 6, 2026 at 12:00 PM (noon), Eastern Daylight Time. Four (4) test borings are proposed in the vicinity of the existing bridge to depths estimated at up to 120 feet below existing grade, at the locations shown on the plans included with the bid package.
