INVITATION TO BID - DRILLING OF TEST BORINGS - STATE PROJECT NO. 0083-0279, REPLACEMENT OF BRIDGE 01663, STATE ROUTE 736 (AKA BUCKINGHAM AVENUE) OVER GULF POND, MILFORD, CT Sealed proposals for the performance of subsurface explorations, including the making of test borings, securing soil and rock samples and other work incidental thereto for the project titled Replacement Of Bridge 01663, State Route 736 (aka Buckingham Ave.) over Gulf Pond, Milford, CT, will be received by Freeman Companies, LLC until Frid ay, March 6, 2026 at 12:00 PM (noon), Eastern Daylight Time. Deliver all bids to Freeman Companies, LLC, 36 John Street, Hartford, Connecticut, 06106 prior to the bid due date & time or email to ctonzi@freemancos.com. Four (4) test borings are proposed in the vicinity of the existing bridge to depths estimated at up to 120 feet below existing grade, at the locations shown on the plans included with the bid package. The test boring contractor shall comply with Connecticut Department of Transportation policies, procedures, and specifications.
