Site work for a civil project in Friendship, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes construction of a new well house with piping, submersible pump, recirculation pump, chlorination, blended orthophosphate/polyphosphate, new ground level glass-fused-to-steel water storage tank with inlet piping and outlet/transmission piping, connection to existing water system, and appurtenances. Separate bids will be received for General Construction, Electrical Construction, and Plumbing Construction. Bid documents are available for electronic download for a non-refundable fee or in printed form for a refundable fee upon return in good condition. A pre-bid conference will be held for the project; attendance is encouraged but not required. All pre-bid questions must be submitted by the specified deadline using the provided Request for Information form. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond as described in the Instructions to Bidders. All bids must comply with bidding requirements and may not be withdrawn within forty-five days after opening, except as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must observe conditions of employment and minimum wage rates as required. The project may be federally funded, requiring compliance with federal requirements, including the Davis-Bacon Act, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program, Build America, Buy America Act, and American Iron and Steel Act. Contractors must not discriminate and must fulfill all requirements specified for bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award as referenced in the Instructions to Bidders.
