Sarasota County seeks proposals from professional engineering firms to provide Engineering and Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) Services for the Hudson Bayou Dredging Project. The required services include design, permitting, bid phase, post design construction services, and construction engineering and inspection (CEI) services. This project is funded in whole or in part by the U.S Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR). Minimum qualifications, scope/specifications, and insurance requirements are detailed in the referenced solicitation documents and attachments. Failure by a bidder to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference or site visit will result in their bid being considered non-responsive. Bidders are advised to visit each location to familiarize themselves with all work areas as failure to do so will not relieve them from furnishing materials or services needed to complete the contract according to the specifications. Question Submission Deadline: March 13, 2026, 5:00pm Any inquiries, suggestions or requests concerning interpretation, clarification or additional information pertaining to the solicitation shall be submitted electronically. All questions must be received no later than the deadline for questions specified in the solicitation. No verbal requests for information will be honored. All responses to inquiries will be posted in electronically. The County reserves the right to request clarifications or additional information from any offeror. Specific questions may be addressed to each of the offerors as applicable. Method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
