General Contractors are invited to submit sealed bids for renovating the exterior of the shop building located on the New Haven School District Campus at 100 Park Drive, New Haven, MO 63068. Instructions to bidders and project specifications can be obtained by emailing the Superintendent or viewed on the district website. Tin and Gutters o Remove existing metal siding and install new Central States R-Loc 26-gauge metal panels on all three (3) sides of the high school shop building. o Remove existing gutters and downspouts; install new 26-gauge box gutters with downspouts. Windows o Remove all existing windows. o Reinstall the following windows: o One (1) window in the shop classroom o Two (2) windows in the wood shop o Two (2) windows in the weight room o Windows to be Quaker E300 Series, 68" x 36". o Frame window openings using Cee channel and girt clips. Insulation & Thermal Protection o Remove existing wall insulation and reinstall walls with R-19 long-tab vinyl-backed insulation. Long tabs to allow taping of laps during future interior metal panel installation. Install insulation using sky hooks. o Install thermal break tape over existing exterior purlins to prevent cold transfer. Ventilation (Wood Shop) o Install one (1) new mechanical louver with rain hood. o Dayton motorized damper, Model 3C728, with weather hood Model 1WBW1. o Install one (1) exhaust fan with rain hood in the wood shop: o Dayton sidewall exhaust fan, Model 484X50, with weather hood Model 1WBW2. o Exhaust fan and motorized damper to be wired to the same switch. Doors o Remove existing glass double door in the weight room and install a new hollow metal double door with glass windows. Interior Patching o Patch interior window openings not being replaced by installing vinyl-backed insulation or an approved alternate product to ensure safety and proper enclosure.
