A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** ESAD PROJECT #26007 Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and other necessary items for the construction of the Oak Street Spring Improvements in Statham, Georgia. The project involves the construction of a new spring drinking water treatment building, clearwell/chlorine contact chamber, submersible pumps, yard piping, electrical work, generator, telemetry, overflow metering system, and the demolition of the existing building and contact chamber. Completion of all work is required within 120 consecutive calendar days from the date of a written Notice to Proceed. Instructions to bidders include: - Bid bond or certified cashier's check for 5% of the total bid must be enclosed with the bid. - Successful bidder must provide Insurance, Workman's Compensation Insurance, and Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the total bid. - Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked, and follow the provided bid form without changes. - Bids missing required qualification criteria will be returned. - Contractors and subcontractors must comply with all Federal, State, and local laws. - Prime contractor must perform at least 30% of the contract value. - Bids cannot be withdrawn within the specified limit in the Instruction to Bidders. - Project is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) State and Local Recovery Funds (SLFRF), and compliance with applicable David-Bacon Wage Rate Determination and Reporting Requirements is required. - OWNER reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids, and to accept any bid deemed in the OWNER's best interest. - Surety and insurance companies must meet specified qualifications and appear on appropriate federal and state lists. Alternatives to bonds are specified for performance and payment bonds under certain circumstances.
