In general, the scope of work for this project shall consist of the reconstruction of Magnolia Drive from Palm Road to Gooseberry Road (approximately 2,000 ft) located in the Township of Commercial. Bid forms, contracts, and specifications can be obtained for a fee from Remington and Vernick Engineers. Bids must be prepared on forms provided by the engineer, submitted in sealed envelopes with the bidder's information and reference to the particular work, and addressed appropriately. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for at least ten percent but not more than $20,000 of the bid amount, and a certificate letter from a surety company stating it will provide a completion bond. The award of the contract is contingent upon the provision of necessary funds and permits by the township. Bidders must comply with requirements for affirmative action, prevailing wage, public works contractor registration, disclosure of stockholders, and proof of business registration.
