Site work for a water / sewer project in Mattawamkeag, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work under this project includes all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for the replacement of the two submersible pumps in the existing wet well and replacement of the two existing check valves in the existing valve pit at Pump Station No. 1, replacement of the existing control panel, transfer switch, including clearing, demolition, existing wet well modifications, pump station and control installation, control panel weather protection structure, loam and seed, and all metals, all electrical, and incidentals for the complete upgrade of the existing pump station. For requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. This project will require compliance with the Federal Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) and use of American Iron and Steel. A bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond issued by surety meeting the requirements of the General Conditions. The contract is expected to be funded in whole or in part by the EPA. The contractor must comply with all Federal Requirements per the CDS Supplementary Conditions and with the Davis-Bacon Related Act. All laborers and mechanics employed by the contractor and subcontractors on this project shall not be paid less than the prevailing wage rates contained in the wage determination published in the bidding documents.
