Demolition and renovation of an industrial development in Lincoln, Maine. Completed plans call for the demolition of a industrial development.
Campbell Environmental Group, Inc. is seeking bids from civil contractors to provide demolition services for elevated piping at the former Lincoln Paper & Tissue Powerhouse, Building 23 (former Powerhouse). Written questions about this Request for Bid (RFB), the project and contractor requirements will be accepted until 5:00 PM, Wednesday March 16, 2026 Questions must be electronically mailed to: dickhall@maine.rr.com The selected contractor will be expected to comply with all applicable and relevant federal, state, and local rules, regulations, and policies, and terms and conditions of the Cooperative Agreement between EPA and the Town of Lincoln listed in this document. A map depicting the project area and site map with legend has been provided as an Appendix, Figures 1-10. Refer to Figure 10 for identification of work areas. North & East a. After asbestos is removed by another contractor, cut and remove overhead pipe bridges from North & East sides with limits of demolition shown on Figure 9. b. Building attachments to be cut within 6 inches of building. c. Cut piping a building support brackets to create clear full width, Yellow Support Poles to Building, as shown below d. Note that at least one line is a former oil supply line. Care must be taken to avoid spilling oil as the line may still contain oil. e. Remove and dispose of non-asbestos accumulated debris and scrap, East Side Building 23 Remove Two Pole Electrical Structure adjacent to brick turbine deck structure. Remove Electrical Pole with angle support North & West a. After asbestos is removed by another contractor, cut and remove overhear pipe bridges from North & West sides with limits of demolition shown on Figure 9. b. Note that at least one line is a former oil supply line. Care must be taken to avoid spilling oil as the line may still contain oil. c. Building attachments to be cut within 6 inches of building.
