Question Deadline 06/05/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The work shall generally consist of a new entrance vestibule addition with canopy and ramp, a new accessible ramp near the Gym, and some interior renovations to an adjacent spaces. The work will include incidental demolition and mechanical work. the Work Shall Generally Consist of a New Entrance Vestibule Addition With Canopy and Ramp, a New Accessible Ramp Near the Gym, and Some Interior Renovations to an Adjacent Spaces. The Work Will Include Incidental Demolition and Mechanical Work. State of Maine Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rates for Penobscot County Are Required for This Project. Renovation Work Shall Be Completed by August 21, 2026. The New Vestibule and Exterior Work Shall Be Completed by December 1, 2026. The Successful Bidder Shall Perform the Work and Furnish a Performance and Payment Bond, Each in the Amount of 100% of the Contract Price With a Corporate Surety Authorized to Do Business in the State of Maine. The Contractor Shall Guarantee All Materials and Equipment Furnished and Work Performed for a Period of One Year From the Date of Substantial Completion. The Performance Bond Shall Remain in Full Force and in Effect Through the Guarantee Period. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Any Technical or Legal Deficiencies, to Reject Any Unbalanced Bids, to Accept Any Bid That It May Deem to Be in the Best Interests of the Owner, to Negotiate the Contract Price With Any Bidder, and to Omit Any Item or Items Deemed Advisable for the Interest of the Owner.
