The goals for this project are a minimum of 0.64% certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and a minimum of 1.64% certified Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) participation. Question Deadline 02/05/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. The project consists of the installation of approximately 225 linear feet of 12-inch diameter ductile iron water main, 1,425 linear feet of 8-inch diameter ductile iron water main, 1,225 linear feet of 6-inch diameter ductile iron water main, hydrants, gate valves, and water services. Water main materials as specified in the contract documents will be provided by the owner. Most materials will be supplied by the owner and installed by the contractor, and costs for materials supplied by the owner are not included in the bid estimate. The expected duration of the project is 150 days. Bidders must provide a bid security of 5% of the total bid price, and payment and performance bonds at contract signing. Bidders must comply with the Build America, Buy America Act, American Iron and Steel Act, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements, nondiscrimination in employment and labor standards, Davis-Bacon wage rates, federal requirements including Copeland "Anti-Kickback" Act, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, Occupational Safety and Health Standards, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, Executive Order 11738, Environmental Protection Agency regulations, Federal Water Pollution Control Act, Rehabilitation Act, Civil Rights Act, Age Discrimination Act, Uniform Relocation and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act, and all permits and restrictions issued for the project by Federal Cross-Cutting Authorities.
