Description: Maine Federal Aid Project No. 2768025, WIN 027680.25 Location 1: In Penobscot County, project is located on US 2 Northeast of IR 684 Back Settlement Rd in Mattawamkeag Lat/Lon: 45.537783, -68.341789 Location 2: In Franklin County, project is located on US 2/SR 17 Southeast of IR 385 Gordon Rd, in Wilton, Lat/Lon: 44.583250, -70.338362 Location 3: In Franklin County, project is located on SR 27 0.3 miles South of Kingfield Townline in New Portland, Lat/Lon: 44.938036, -70.145185 Outline of Work: Installation of continuous traffic count stations, and other incidental work. Questions received after noon of Friday (or if that Friday is a state holiday, Thursday) prior to bid date will not be answered. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Department and must be accompanied by a bid bond at 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money order in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, payable to Treasurer, State of Maine as a Bid guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder. This Contract is subject to all applicable Federal Laws. This contract is subject to compliance with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program requirements as set forth by the Maine Department of Transportation. The right is hereby reserved to the MaineDOT to reject any or all bids. ME DOT - Installation of Continuous Traffic Count Stations and Other Incidental Work DBE participation goal of 1. 43% Goals for Employment of Women and Minorities Per Executive Order 11246, craft trades person goals are 6.9% women and .5% minorities employed.
