Site work for a water / sewer project in Lincoln, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Work: Installation of approximately 5,800 LF of 8-inch diameter ductile iron water main, hydrants, gate valves and water services. Water main materials as specified in the Contract Documents will be provided by the owner. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Mohawk Road Water Main Replacement Project Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $800,000. The Project has an expected duration of 120 days. Bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the Total Bid Price as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. Payment and Performance Bonds will need to be provided at Contract Signing as described in the Contract Documents. A certified check or bank draft payable to the OWNER or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and a Surety Company in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after receipt of bids unless released by the Owner. Performance and Payment Bonds are required at contract signing for 100% of the contract price. No pre-bid conference will be held. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Doc Notes: Obtaining the Bidding Documents The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Dirigo Engineering 2 Dirigo Drive Fairfield, Maine -4937 (207) 453-2401 Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing, Rick Pershken, Project Manager Dirigo Engineering, 2 Dirigo Drive Fairfield, ME 04937, 207-453-2401, rick@dirigoeng.com. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
