Site work and paving for a road / highway in Columbus, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Columbus is requesting quotes for public improvements for Project #26-06, Central Avenue Preemption. All quotes must be submitted through the electronic bidding system, Ion Wave Technologies. No mailed, emailed, faxed, hand delivered, or late responses will be accepted. A signed Quote Form will serve as the contract. Bidders are required to submit a fully executed Comprehensive Compliance Form and a Certificate of Liability Insurance with coverage of at least $300,000 for any one person and $1,000,000 for any one accident. The work must be completed by July 31, 2026, or liquidated damages of $100 per calendar day (excluding weekends and holidays) will be deducted from any money due. Contractors must obtain a Request for Special Use of Right of Way for any street, traffic lane, alley, parking space, or sidewalk closure. The City of Columbus reserves the right to reject any and all quotes. Question Deadline 03/06/2026 at 12:00 PM ET
