Bids are being solicited for Riverfront Tree Mitigation. All bid responses must be properly and completely executed on the forms provided. Contractors, subcontractors, and bidders must submit a notarized Comprehensive Compliance Form regarding Affirmative Action, Disqualification of Contracts Dealing with the Government of Iran, a Drug Free Workplace, OSHA and IOSHA Regulations, and Employment Eligibility Verification. A bid bond or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, made payable to the City of Columbus, Indiana, is required with each bid response, to guarantee fulfillment of bid terms. Bid security must be uploaded as a clean digital copy, with the original furnished to the Finance Department within 72 hours if awarded. The successful bidder must provide a one hundred percent (100%) performance and payment bond, enter into a construction contract, provide a certificate of insurance, and begin work promptly. All contract documents are detailed in plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer or designated Consultant, and are available online. Questions must be submitted through Ion Wave. The City uses Ion Wave exclusively for all notifications and document dissemination, and is not responsible for notifications through any other means. Bidders are not permitted to withdraw bids within thirty (30) days of the bid receipt deadline. The Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and cancel bids, solicitations, or offers in whole or in part as specified when in the best interest of the purchasing agency.
