Site work and paving for a road / highway in Youngsville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Furnish and place MC-70 and HFRS-2 as directed by the Township. Coordination between the Township and Contractor will be needed during the project. Sealed proposals are invited for supplying 20,000 gallons of High-Float Emulsified Asphalt (HFRS-2) and 5,000 gallons of Cut-Back Asphalt (AASHTO MC-70). Liquidated damages of $975 per calendar day apply. Proposals must use the forms provided by the municipality and be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid amount, payable to the municipality. The successful bidder is required to provide a performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract amount within 20 days after award. The municipality retains the right to reject any or all proposals.
