The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Provide, install, maintain, and repair, if necessary, temporary power and light throughout the site. Temporary power shall be provided at location(s) selected by the Architect/Engineer based on input by the General Contractor. 2. Replace existing 120/208V switchgear. 3. Power distribution wiring. Provide, mount, and install electrical conduit, wire, fittings, boxes, panels, and electrical accessories. 4. Electrical connections (final termination) to all equipment. Sealed proposals are requested for Electrical Service Upgrade at Robbins Lane Elementary School under Contract RL-E1 - Electrical Construction for the Syosset Central School District. Bids must be made on the standard proposal form as specified, enclosed in sealed opaque envelopes with the job name, bidder's name and address, and marked "ELECTRICAL SERVICE UPGRADE AT ROBBINS LANE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL." Each proposal must include a certified check or bid bond payable to the Syosset Central School District, amounting to ten percent (10%) of the total bid, demonstrating a commitment to enter into a contract and provide further security for faithful performance. Certification of the bonding company is required. Bidders must hold their bid price for forty-five (45) days after the bid opening. The Board intends to award the contract to the lowest qualified bidder who meets the experience, technical, and budget requirements, but reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality.
