**As of April 13, 2026, this project has been awarded.** Notice is given that sealed bids for the new construction will be received at Franklin Community Schools Maintenance Building. Work shall be performed under one unified contract. Bids must be submitted on provided forms, executed in accordance with Indiana Board of Accounts Form No. 96 with a financial statement, supplemental bid form, and a satisfactory bid bond or certified check payable to Franklin Community Schools. Bid security must be at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price, delivered in a sealed envelope labeled with the project and bidder's information. Construction must fully comply with all drawings and specifications. Procurement documents are available for a refundable deposit. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor and Materials Payment Bond, effective for twelve months from the date of acceptance of the work. The contract will contain a provision prohibiting employment practices that discriminate based on race, color, sex, religion, national origin, or ancestry. Substitutions for specified trade or brand names must have written approval before the bid opening and be identified in the bid. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive informalities or errors in bidding for sixty days after the bid opening. Additional sets of documents may be purchased at non-refundable printing costs, with electronic versions available for a fee.
