Sealed lump sum bids are invited from qualified contractors for the 2026 Water Heater Replacement project at Minooka South Community High School. The project includes, but is not limited to, the removal of existing water heating equipment and all associated piping in the existing Boiler Room; installation of new water heaters on concrete housekeeping pads; installation of associated domestic water, natural gas piping and electrical work; and minor floor and roof infill and patching within the areas of work. Refer to the Project Manual Specifications and Drawings for the full extent of the Work that will be required. A Bid Security of 10% of the Base Bid is required with the proposal. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bidding procedure, or accept the Bid that, in its opinion, will serve the best interest of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to set aside a Bid from a Contractor who, in the Owner's opinion, does not exhibit past experience equal to the size and scope of this project.
