Renovation of a recreation facility in Corpus Christi, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.
**As of April 24th, 2026 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The project consists of improvements to the Oak Park Recreation Center Building envelope by overlaying the existing roof system in its entirety with an energy efficient mechanically fastened TPO 60mil membrane, 20-year warranty roof system. PEMB roof panels are to be replaced with new 24 ga. R-Panel. Repair any damaged roof decking found during the removal of the existing roof system. Repair or replace and support any existing conduit on the roof as needed. Remove and reinstall existing mechanical equipment, vents, etc. in accordance with the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) windstorm requirements. Remove and reuse existing gutter, conductor heads and downspouts as needed for a successful roof installation. Remove, clean/repaint and reuse existing light standards (2). Question Deadline 03/18/2026 at 4:00 PM CT All inquiries or requests regarding this RFB must be submitted in writing online. It is the responsibility of the Contractor bidding the project to ensure the accuracy of the reproduction of all Bid Documents and Construction Drawings. This includes, but is not limited to, proper scaling, paper width and length, etc. Failure to do so may result in errors in the Unit Bid Quantities and or Bids Amounts. Sealed Bids may be submitted either electronically using the CivCast USA website, or via a flash drive delivered in a sealed envelope. Bidders are advised to refer to Request for Bids Section 5 of the bidding documents for a list of required bid submittals. Failure to submit or upload all required documents may result in an irregular or non-responsive bid submittal. A. Re-roof the existing building by removing the full existing roof system and installing a new roofing system in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes. B. Inspect the exposed roof decking during demolition and repair or replace any damaged decking identified. C. Repair, replace, or properly support existing rooftop conduit to ensure safe and code-compliant installation. D. Remove and reinstall all rooftop mechanical equipment, vents, and related components as required for roofing work, ensuring all reinstallations meet Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) windstorm requirements. E. Remove and reuse the existing gutter system, including gutters, conductor heads, and downspouts, reinstalling them after roofing work is complete. F. Clean and repaint the existing light fixture and reinstall it for continued use.
