Each bid must include an acceptable hard copy bid bond payable without recourse to the City of Denton, Texas, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid submitted, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a performance bond, a payment bond, and provide an insurance certificate within ten (10) days after notification of the award.
