Furnish all labor and materials and perform all work necessary for approximately 2,100 LF of 18" gravity sewer line, 1,000 LF of 8" gravity sewer line, manholes, 675 LF of 30" bore and steel casing, 40 LF of 16" bore and steel casing, and all appurtenances. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond or Cashier's Check from a solvent bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. Bid security for the two low bidders will be retained until contract approval and execution of satisfactory bonds or other disposition of bids. Bidders must purchase plans and specifications from the designated engineering firm, be on the engineer's official plan holders list to receive addenda and submit a bid, and follow the procedures for bid document acquisition. Required bonds include a Performance Bond, Statutory Bond, and Maintenance Bond, each in the full contract amount. Letters of credit will not be accepted instead of bonds. Bidders may be required to submit information regarding previous experience, business and technical organization, financial resources, and plant availability, along with a recent financial statement upon request. Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) requirements apply. Indian preference will be given to bidders who provide proof of current certification from the Cherokee Nation TERO, which must be included with the sealed bid. The award is subject to Section 7(b) of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act, giving preference to Indian Organizations and Indian Owned Economic Enterprises. TERO requirements include a fee of 1/2 of 1% of the contract award and $25.00 per non-Indian employee per day on the project. The successful bidder must complete required TERO paperwork and pay all fees for the contract to be fully executed. Davis Bacon Act wage rules shall apply. Contract will be awarded to the low responsive responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and reject any and all bids. Conditional bids are not accepted. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing . Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents .Question Deadline 03/20/2026
