Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Bedford, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Sealed bids are being received for a 12 inch water main relocation and fire hydrant relocation on the southside of SR 58, 10 feet off the pavement, 0.1 miles west of Fellowship Dr on SR 58. Bidders must carry and provide a certificate of general liability with a minimum amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate, naming the City as an additional insured. Questions concerning conditions, bidding guidelines and specifications should be directed in writing to: Misty Adams: madams@bedford.in.gov The Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the invitation for bids. Project includes relocating approximately 300 ft of 12 inch ductile iron water main pipe with rock excavation, and fire hydrant replacement in new location on SR 58. This is a unit price bid and quantities may be adjusted as needed. Attached map does not include standpipe assembly. Larger maps can be obtained at the Utilities office or at the site visit. Contractor must be available and complete the project by May 15, 2026.
