Renovation of a fire / police facility in Flemington, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The project involves ADA Access and Sign Improvement for Flemington Police at 200 Main Street. The major construction items include removal of railing, concrete stairs, ramps, and sidewalks, excavation and installation of precast concrete stairs, ramps on poured Sono Tube footings, concrete sidewalk, and powder coated steel handrails and guard rails, along with restoration items. The alternate bid includes removal of existing sign, masonry and footings, installation of a new sign and precast concrete footings, as well as electrical and restoration work. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms as designated and required by the specifications, enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Borough Clerk's Office. Bids must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid (not to exceed $20,000.00 nor less than $500.00), delivered on or before the specified time. Bidders must comply with the Local Public Contracts Law, the Prevailing Wage Act, P.L. 1975, c.127, Build America Buy America (BABA) requirements, and all requirements noted in the specifications for NJDCA. The Borough reserves the right to award the Base Bid, Base Bid plus Alternate Bid, or reject all bids, and may waive any informality in any bid benefiting the Borough.
