Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Whitefish, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of reconstructing Armory Road from East Second Street to the east boundary of Armory Park, approximately 4,250 linear feet. Major items include removal of existing asphalt, curb, and sidewalk; clearing and grubbing; construction of new road asphalt pavement; installation of an 8-foot wide asphalt shared-use path; installation of stormwater drainage pipe and structures; construction of concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk; construction of a gravity block retaining wall; topsoil placement and seeding; and installation of signage and pavement markings Pre-Bid inquiries shall be directed to CR Leisinger at 406-751-5864 or cleisinger@m-m.net All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less seven (7) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
