Bids are invited for lead hazard control of the dwelling unit at 4126 Polk Street. Sealed bids must be addressed to the Rehabilitation Division, Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, and marked "Bid on LEAD HAZARD CONTROL OF DWELLING UNIT," including the address and job number. Bids must be on file in this office by 3:00 P.M. on the closing date, at which time they will be opened and read before bidders and the public. Not less than minimum salaries and wages as specified by the U.S. Secretary of Labor must be paid. Contractors must ensure no discrimination in employment. Bidders must file a certificate of insurance showing comprehensive public liability coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, and evidence of workman's compensation insurance must be provided before the order to proceed. The owner reserves the right to accept, reject, or negotiate any or all bids in whole or in part.
